The extension of the School’s dedicated 6th Form Centre was a major step in expanding the School’s post 16 curriculum, accommodation and facilities.
The existing building is a refurbished detached 1960’s brick house and so the extension has been designed in a complimentary manner with striking continuous glazing to the front elevation. The addition of a modern reception was crucial to provide a focal point access to the whole facility and has been enhanced by an eye catching welcome wall decoration. To further lift the atmosphere in the 6th Form Common Room a full height woodland scene graphic image fills one wall.
The project was delivered within the School’s budget and timetable in order to showcase to prospective parents and pupils to maximise 6th Form applications for the new academic term.
The scheme was completed to budget and ahead of programme.
