The scheme comprised a new teaching facility for learners with learning difficulties and disabilities which included classrooms, sensory room, administration offices/reception, kitchen facilities, domestic bathrooms, medical treatment room, changing rooms, plant room and common room together with associated external works, drainage and services on land within the existing Rodbaston Campus of South Staffordshire College.
The new building was of timber framed construction, with pitched roofs and the external elevational treatments were a mixture of blue facing bricks, vertical and horizontal timber cladding and featured white render panels.
It was a single storey building of 749m² GFA.
