The work consisted of the major refurbishment of a disused former Granary and remodelling of workshop space, together with a new build workshop infill extension and also a stand-alone Automotive Workshop, now known as AgriTech.
The state-of-the-art facility created included agricultural engineering and automotive workshops, AgriTech/precision farming simulation lab, Performing Manufacturing Operations training/assessment area, multi-occupation construction area and digitally connected classrooms.
The project was procured via a two stage tender using a JCT Standard Building Contract without Quantities 2011.
