It may not yet be completed but Derby College's Roundhouse received fantastic news this week when it was announced as the East Midlands winner of the Best Conservation-led Regeneration Scheme, where Armsons are acting as Project Managers as well as Cost Consultants.
The Roundhouse was one of twenty national schemes included in a book by English Heritage called Constructive Conservation in Practice. The historic Roundhouse sits opposite Derby Railway station at the gateway to Pride Park and is being developed as a college vocational centre of excellence. Derby College is recognised as one of the UK's top five FE institutions.

Project Orange receives a Regional RIBA Award
The Royal Institute of British Architects have awarded Sinclair's Building in Sheffield with an award for exemplar projects achieving high architectural standards that have a substantial contribution to the local environment, where Armsons acted as the project Quantity Surveyor.
The mixed use Sinclair's building was on the site of five former buildings and completes an urban block. This is a beautifully handled piece of townscape which relates well to its context, drawing on the Victorian scale of adjacent buildings.
