Quantity Surveying, financial control and cost reporting services provided to South Derbyshire District Council for the successful delivery of the Museum Café Extension on behalf of the Sharpes Pottery Trust.
The extension specification included reclaimed facing bricks and roof tiles to comply with planning conditions in order to remain sympathetic to the established character of the surrounding buildings and adjacent kiln situated within the museum complex. In additional internal feature oak truss beams have been used to good effect in the café area to provide a neat and high value solution.
