Scheme: Construction of New Mickleover Scout Group HQ, Derby  

Client: The consortium, comprising; Persimmon Homes, Peveril Homes and Radleigh Homes  Value: £350,000 Services: Project Manager and Cost Consultant

As the existing Scout Hut was situated on land identified for residential development, the Consortium committed to relocation of the Scout Group in brand new accommodation.
Armsons were appointed to manage the entire Mickleover Housing Development scheme of which this project was one phase. The project comprised meeting facilities and activities hall for Mickleover Scout Group including stores, offices, kitchenette, toilets and car parking.
The build is of traditional pitched roof and brick construction and includes drainage and service connections into the main site infrastructure with some minor external works.
The project was completed to budget and completed May 2008 for occupation by the Scout Group.
