Extensions to and extensive internal remodelling of the existing building to provide additional space at first floor level creating a fitness suite, new reception, changing areas, a snack kiosk and a fully re-fitted function suite together with new changing facilities for the swimming pool and a car park externally.
The project was completed in May 2003 and the centre remained open throughout the construction period.
